Caregiver Opportunities

You Can Make a Difference

At Family Private Care, we understand the difficulty a family faces in deciding to invite a care provider into their home. That's why our rigorous, personalized screening system is designed to maximize their peace of mind. We believe that clients who choose to pay privately for their own care or that of their loved one has the right to choose how they want that care delivered, who will deliver that care, and when and where that care will be delivered.

The purpose of our company is to create a market in which individuals or families who require care and care providers can easily find each other. For our clients, we are a trusted source for screened, credentialed, and skilled care providers. For self-employed caregivers, we are a source of potential clients. Our role is to inform care providers about client opportunities for which they are qualified, but the care provider decides whether to pursue the opportunity and the care provider and the client ultimately decide whether to work together.

Opportunities for care providers is on the rise. America's population is growing gray and living on average up to 15 years longer than their parents generation. Studies show that:

  • 59% of adults are, or expect to be, a family care provider
  • 27% of adults provided care to a family member in the past year
  • 80% of home care is provided by family members
  • 50% of those over 85 years old require care
  • 54% of caregivers are between age 35 and 64!

Family Private Care works tirelessly for the team of care providers on our registry. That's because we recognize the extraordinary things that care providers do and realize the inner strengths they possess. The stories they tell are a daily inspiration to our entire staff because caregivers truly make a difference.

What are the qualifications?

Caregiver responsibilities vary from family to family and client to client, but there is one common thread. All caregivers dedicate their lives to this profession because they are deeply affected by their caregiving circumstances and desire for their life to be a bouquet that beautifies everything and everyone around them. If that describes you, we regularly have clients who require care - and who are seeking a care provider like you. We are currently referring care providers who possess the following skills:

  • Registered Nurses
  • Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Home Health Aids
  • Companions
  • Homemakers

To be a care provider requires more than skills and certifications. You need to be dependable, flexible, and enjoy spending time with others. You need to be self-motivated, have stamina and endurance, be a fast learner, and be stress-resistant. Most importantly though, you must be caring and compassionate. Being a care provider is a job that comes with great joy and many rewards - like turning ordinary days into great days. But it's more than just a job. It's a labor of love.

"What's in it for me?"

Shifts range from hourly, multiple shifts, 24/7, live-in, weekends and holidays - from one day to several years. The independent care providers on our registry enjoy:

  • Flexible part-time and full-time schedules - you control your own schedule
  • Competitive reimbursement rates
  • Meet people and interact with others outside your home
  • A supportive, friendly, and competent office team
  • An ever-growing circle of exclusive clientele to serve
  • Working with an organization that has a sterling reputation for integrity and excellence
  • Daily opportunities to make a positive difference in people's lives!

If you have a special way of taking care of others - if you've been a family caregiver or you just want to make a difference in the life of another person, call Family Private Care today for a caregiver meeting.
