Companion Care

Companion Care focuses primarily on the client and his or her social needs. Companions offer a wide range of services to clients, including:

• Provide companionship, socialization, communication
• Stabilize when walking by holding arm or hand
• Report unusual incidents or changes in behavior to Family Private Care
• Accompany to appointments and/or run errands
• Perform basic grooming/cosmetic assistance (brushing hair, assisting with make-up, filing/polishing nails, etc.)
• Perform light household tasks (meal plan/preparation, laundry, straighten living areas, etc.)
